2001/04/05 - KISS Expo The 15th Annual NY KISS & Hard Rock Convention at the Rothman Center, Hackensack, NJ, will be held on April 29, 2001 (between 11 A.M. - 10 P.M.). Bands on hand will include Young & Fabulous, NYB, Get Your Guns, and Double Platinum (KISS tribute band). Special guests include Karl Cochran, Eddie Trunk, Dennis Woloch, Michael Bruce, and Dale Torborg (aka The Demon in WCW). More info is available on the official site. 2001/03/29 - WCW Sold World Championship Wrestling has been sold on March 23, 2001 to WWFE (World Wrestling Federation Entertainment). It looks like the company will be operated independently from the WWF and that Shane McMahon will be in charge. The status of WCW's KISS wrestler, The Demon, with the new company is still unknown at this moment. More on this is news becomes available. 2001/03/10 - The Demon returned to action The Demon sent us information on what's happening in World Championship Wrestling. As most of you know, The Demon has been off WCW television for quite some time now. Here's what he had to say: I just returned to the ring a couple of weeks ago. I did 2 house shows. The first against Robbie Rage (Formerly of High Voltage). I got to use my new finish, "The Destroyer". Last week, I had a match in Tennessee against Elix Skipper. I have two coming up in McMinnville, TN on 3/11 and Mobile, AL on 3/25. That's it for now. I'm really excited about the sale and Eric taking over. Things should get exciting. NOTES:
Dale Torborg (The Demon) just informed us that he will be back on WCW television very soon. He also stated that he recently talked with Gene Simmons about this matter. On tonight's Thunder and last Monday's Nitro The Demon showed off his newest trick... fire breathing! On Friday, June 9th The Demon flew into KISS' Jones Beach show to meet with his fire breathing coach... Spiro. Other then the original Demon, you couldn't ask for a better teacher! 2000-04-24 - Demon Feature in WCW Magazine We definitely are going to do a feature on in the June edition (issue #63) of WCW. We're just not sure yet, if it will be a KISS feature, or a Demon feature. Either way, there will be many KISS photos involved. 2000-04-18 - What's Up with The Demon? It appears that something is up with WCW's The Demon as he was spotted backstage in Atlanta with Vince Russo and Tony Schiavone. |
